Throughout the year, NYA organizes a variety of engaging events and activities, both in the classroom and across the school community. These events provide students with opportunities to develop and demonstrate the School-Wide Learner Outcomes while fostering creativity, collaboration, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of community.
In-class and grade-level events include end-of-unit celebrations, celebrations of student action, Super Reader’s programme, grade-level assemblies, student showcases, and other activities that encourage active participation and learning.
As a school community, we celebrate a variety of local and international holidays and festivals, including Independence Day and Republic Day, variety of festivals and other cultural celebrations. We also organize special events such as the International Food Festival, Dot Day, Spirit Days, International Literacy Day, Design Thinking based Dream’s Day, Sports Days, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Earth Day, Children’s Day, and Teachers’ Day. These events enrich the student experience, celebrate diversity and achievement, and provide meaningful opportunities for students, teachers, and families to come together and strengthen our school community.
