Applying Process

We understand that choosing the right school and navigating the admissions process is an important decision. Our admissions journey is designed to be professional, transparent, and supportive, ensuring that every family receives clear guidance at every stage.

From your first enquiry through to enrolment, our Admissions and Academic teams are committed to providing a welcoming experience aligned with international standards.

Step 1: Enquiry & Initial Contact

Our Admissions Team will acknowledge your enquiry and contact you.
A Parent Relations Executive (PRE) will connect with you to understand your requirements and answer your initial questions.
We will arrange a convenient date and time for a school visit, where appropriate.

Step 2: School Visit & Application

Discover the New York Academy experience.

Visit the school in person or arrange an online meeting.
Meet with our Parent Relations Executive (PRE) to discuss your child’s educational needs and your expectations.
Take a guided tour of the school and explore our learning environment and facilities.
Our team will explain the application requirements and guide you through the next steps.

Step 3: Application & Placement Assessment

Submit your application and supporting documentation.

Complete the application form online or in person.
Submit all required supporting documents and forms.
Pay the applicable application fee.
The Admissions Team will review the submitted documentation.
Admissions team will assign the grade placement

Step 4: Student Assessment & Interview

Getting to know your child.

The student participates in an age-appropriate assessment, where applicable.
A student interview may be conducted as part of the admissions process.
Where appropriate, the school may arrange a trial or observation day to understand the student’s learning needs and readiness.
With the appropriate permissions, the school may conduct background or academic verification with the student’s previous school(s).

Step 5: Admission Confirmation & Enrolment

Welcome to the New York Academy family.

The Academic and Senior Leadership teams review the student’s assessment results and overall application, where applicable.
A provisional decision regarding enrolment is made.
Parents are informed of the admissions decision by telephone.
Upon acceptance, parents receive the enrolment and fee-payment instructions.
All applicable school fees for the relevant semester are payable according to the school’s fee schedule.
Once the required enrolment formalities and payments are completed, the student’s place is formally confirmed.
